I'm thinking about buying coilovers. Has anyone done a summary or comparison of what's out there?

Any recommendations?

The one's I have on my short list in order of preference are:
1. BC Racing
2. KW variant 1
3. Ksport Kontrol Pro

Are there brands or models I should stay away from?

 

I don't know what's out there for the Fit but in general BC, Tien and Riceland are junk.

KW, JRZ are good along with Feal for low to middle price coil over. I'm told Fortune Auto are good for the money from someone I know that works in the industry whose opinion I value. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with them.

I guess, the biggest thing is what do you want them for? Are you going to autocross or do track days? If so, buy something of quality. If it's to slam your car to the ground for looks, then buy whatever offshore made cheap coil over.

 

Rob H - Thanks for the reply. Not an "one-size" fits all option out there. I am biased toward kW and Feal also, which I've used on Subarus. It's funny sometimes I look at the Fit, as a "budget build", yet end of wanting some of the mid-range to higher cost products.

I haven't seen a Feal product yet for the Fit, or anything comparable other than KW variant 1's.

Mostly to be used as a daily driver with maybe 2-3 autocross days. So looking for variable drop, plus driving comfort.

Guess I'll hold off until I see a better product at a decent price.
