Initial impressions are positive. Smooth and quiet.

I'm not sure about Honda, but Akebono is an OEM supplier for Toyota. I have Akebono components on my 4Runner and have been happy with them.

Totally recommend them. From my experience, Akebono pads are smoother and less dusty than OEM Honda pads. Braking distance is on par with OEM if not better. I believe Akebono is an OEM supplier for Nissan as well.

Did you install Brake Pads that are noticeably better than Honda OEM?

I have a 2015 FIT.

I am looking for better braking without having to make major modifications.

Has anyone installed brake pads other than the HONDA OEM pads that they can definitively say have noticeably improved their braking on a 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 Honda FIT.

What I am specifically looking for is shorter braking distance than the HONDA OEM pads if that is at all possible.

Thank you for taking the time.
