Ok buying a used set tomorrow for my 2017 fit. Question about the tpms sensor.

Would I have to tell the shop to swap tpms sensors from my old wheels to the new fit sport black wheels I’m getting or can they re program the sensors from the fit sport wheels purchasing?

 

2015 and up use a passive system the measures wheel speed. There isn't any TPMS inside the wheel/tire. In theory it's an excellent idea for those who like to sway wheels and tires. My experience is it doesn't work that well and I live with the light on. Uneven tire wear and other similar issues seem to make my car unhappy. Does work great with brand new tires and not switching wheel/tire combos.
