Difference between 15" and 16" is stunning ... I've been looking at those 15's for 2 months and have considered smaller wheels but am liking the upsize. i painted my calipers red back in the day. kiss my lily white ass .... I'm pimpin myself!
If you park your car outside at night you may want to see about a motion sensor alarm or at least 2 sets of wheel locks. Do these wheels bolt on where you can reset the TPMS from the car?

Them red calipers make the ride look "custom" with taste!!!!

It's OK! I knew what you meant, and thanks for the positive! But some of those limp-wristed replies were pretty funny!

TPMS!! Good point and one I failed to comment on. I had anticipated having to reset the TPMS but the wheels and tires are the same overall radius so it was "plug and play". I DID make sure all 4 tires pressure were correct and EVEN before driving.

2nd set of wheel locks is a good idea and one I hadn't thought of. I would probably buy an non-Honda set to make removal more confusing for potential thieves (and myself)

Your wheel locks are a good idea. After all, we don't want history repeating itself!

$500 is an okay price, considering the car is so new.

However, if you were to wait 6 months - one year, you'd probably be capable of picking them up for $150-300.

Stock wheels, especially ones that will never see popularity on other cars, are near worthless.

I doubt the GK EX/EX-L alloys will ever be much of a target for theft...I've yet to meet an enthusiast who finds them even remotely appealing.

You do understand those "worthless" wheels also came preloaded with "slightly" used tires, correct? Here is a source link for those "highly discounted" wheels and tires;

Dude there's a strong history of theft on fit Sport wheels. I don't see why the EX would be any different.

I like the 2015 EX wheels, look much better than my LX hubcaps. One consolation I have is my hubcap wheels probably will not be stolen. It does help to have a locking garage to park in. Bill #22335

Be sure to avoid pot holes, my old '08 Fit base had hubcaps, and on more than one occasion I watched my hubcaps roll down the road.

Thread cleaned up...

The OP made a thread and asked a simple question, why you guys chose to flame him and accuse him of buying stolen wheels is beyond me

OP got a good deal and is happy with them so I think we should be fine with it as well

Side note: I sold my nearly new Sport wheels and Tires for around $350, I think $500 is perfectly fine
