TPMS Reminder
 

Unlike many other cars, the 2015 Fit does not have those expensive tire pressure sensors in each wheel. If you buy new wheels, you don't have to buy sensors. However, when you install new wheels or even rotate your tires, the warning light will light up.

This is easy to reset, or "calibrate," as Honda calls it. With the car in Park and feet off the pedals, press the Start button twice. The instruments will light up. Reach under the Eco button and Traction Control button and find the button for the TPMS. (It's out of sight.) Hold that button in for a few seconds, and the TPMS light will blink and go out. That's all there is to it.

Sadly...if you hit a good bump at high speeds the light can come on with the system the fit uses. Not horrible but a good thing to know.

Yeah, but I still prefer it to having those expensive transmitters. After you buy them, you have to pay the dealer to calibrate them.

I agree (hands down) the Direct-TPMS is the pits.
The Indirect-TPMS is better by a long shot.


But I would still prefer no TPMS

Thanks Silver, I am going to print your post as a reminder to do this every 5k miles when I rotate the tires. That way I won't have to look it up in the digital manual every time.
