15" or 16" rims Jazz GK RS 2018
hello from Asia

I recommend 15s |
team 15s .... checkin in! 15s are great for the price, less expensive that 16s or 17s, and light weight (if you're into that)

15's all the way
|
|
I prefer the look of the 16’s.
If you are worried about weight 15 is better. |
If you want tires with more grip than average commuter tires, you have more options on the sportier side in 16," if not, then just get whichever looks better to you. 16" rides a little more harsh in any given tire.

I really like 15inch wheels look on the Fit. Small wheels with meaty tires look awesome on the car like this
I went with 16s and chunky rubber, but the wheel I chose looks smaller than it actually is and it is still only 14lbs at 7" width and very well priced. Those are both 16s in the attached picture, yet they don't look like it, do they? |

Lightweight 15s with 205/50 will increase the final drive to about 4.8, wich increases acceleration at the cost of higher cruising rpm (worth it). 16s with a 205/45 will do the same but weigh more on average, with more expensive tires. 16s with a 205/50 will be close to stock overall diameter and gearing will not change.

The tire profile and width combined with the dark color wheel certainly make the wheels look smaller. I really like it. Which wheels are they?
Canadian brand, wheels made in Taiwan, 16x7 ET40 weighs in at 14.2 lb. https://www.fastwheels.ca/ Here is one on the car with red center cap and lugnuts, because why not ;) |
go 17's. 16's are already small on the car. my Golfs are smaller cars dan my GK and run 19's.

I feel the opposite, to me 17s look huge and add a lot of rotating mass to an already slow car. 15s look proper, but mostly because im not into huge rims and tiny sidewalls. The gk5s that participate in super taikyu and other clubman spec run a 15" setup, some stagger tire sizes too like 205/50 up front 195/55 out back to encourage rotation, i dont reccomend that on a daily driver though or kiss tire rotations goodbye. |
considering the tiny brakes and huge gap inside the barrel 17's with many spokes would be da largest diameter id go.
u mean super taikutsu ;) |

17’ and i’m planning to go down to 16’. A very pleasing look but a bit bumpier than the OEM size 16’. |
My 2018 Sport came with 16" but we are going with upgraded 17" Mugen MD-8's this year.

What do you think of this set up. I am thinking 15 x 6 kings or ROH rims.
