What wheels for around $150 each?

I am thinking of getting a second set of wheels. They could be 16 of 17’s. I actually like the old 2007 HFP wheels and those are about $150 so that may be as much as I need to spend.
What other wheels do you guys like? I prefer to keep the offset close to stock...

For that price, I like the look and specs of the TR Motorsports C1 though you'll find it difficult to find any rim with a +53 offset.

Just buy a set of OEM wheels if you're going to buy something cheap.

You can get good aftermarket wheels for $150 a piece. I like the ones Evil posted they would look nice. The HFP wheels would look nice too and you can look on CL for a set. I like my set of Civic HFP wheels!

Idk if aftermarket wheels come in that high an offset.

These look like nice wheels for sure. They stick out about an inch more which may not be a problem? I have always tried to get close on the offset to heed the warnings of the wheel bearing gods too.

I know. I have heard this warning FOREVER but I have not heard of wheel bearing failure threads very often.

Gotcha. I wouldn't mess with Konigs, but that's just me. Good luck OP, don't blindly believe posters here (myself included), most are not nearly as knowledgeable on cars as they try to make come across.

I too come from subaru's

on nasioc, they always warn people of wheel bearing failure. I run 20 offset wheels, on a 2004 wrx, with 150k plus on the clock .... still havent blown up 1 single bearing yet. suck it .... nasioc!

I have not experienced premature failure with wheel bearings and Konig makes a good wheel for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a set.

Agreed, Konig's are very underrated.

OP, take a few mins and check out that link. Konig explains what they do for their "flow formed/flow forged" wheels

It's what sold me, along with experiences from miata friends that regularly track/auto x. I honestly cant think of a better value wheel (strength, weight, price)

I find it comical that people on this forum think Konig wheels are of questionable quality. Konig uses the same technology to manufacture their wheels as Enkei does, in fact Konig licenses the technology from Enkei to make their wheels. I'm currently running Konigs with no issues at all, I would continue to buy Konig wheels if they offered the wheels in my size with a +45 offset but they do not, so my next set for the fit will be Enkei's.

For the most part any mainstream cast wheel you are going to buy is going to use similar manufacturing techniques and quality gravity casting, MAT/flow forming, forged, or pressed. If you stick with a major brand your basically going to get similar quality, the biggest variation is weight.

Spoiler alert the same can be said for tires, you can get really good quality tires for cheap if you know which brands are reputable but not popular in your area.
