Hello! i'm a new 2017 fit lx owner with a CVT! i'm here for advice on how to maintain the cvt, mile markers for basic maintenance or any other useful tips/tricks to keep my car up to date and moving smoothly (had a 2003 bmw that was a mess so i'm trying to stay on top of this one!) thanks in advance!!!

 

Welcome. I have same car in Modern Steel Metallic. 64K miles already! Not everyone agrees with the value of the undercover which you need to remove and install for an oil/filter change. I left mine off permanently since the first free oil/filter changed by the dealer. Now, I can change the oil/filer without having to remove the undercover, which requires a ramp to get to those hideous fasteners that everyone complain about. However, if you drive the car gently, you will surely get over 40mpg. Have fun with it. This is the last Fit generation that will be available in the US.
