Unhappy Honda fit 2010 question

Hello my name is Mia an I have this amazing life saving Honda fit 2010 since April 2021
Recently a part fell off from underneath the car while I was driving it was a very rusted piece of metal cover and I have no idea what it was but I am glad it is gone, it was making a horrible noise.
so I was wondering if one of you had that happened to your fit, there is a picture, and I would like to know also what is that small pipe next the piece that was covered.
I hope my message is no bother, I apologize for my English

I am from Europe.

Thank you all

It looks like your heat shield for the catalytic converter. No worries. Just avoid parking your car over tall dead grass or weeds after driving.
When you get your oil changed....have the guy verify it.

If you feel you need to replace it...any muffler shop should be able to do it. (might cost around $100 for parts and labor)
Mine rusted off two years ago and I'm not planning on replacing it.
Again, it's there just to prevent a fire if you park your hot car over dry, burnable material.
