2009 Sport Fit fog lights

Hello,

I have a 2009 Sport Fit. It doesn’t have fog lights. I bought it used. From google pictures, I see a lot of honda Fit 2009 having fog lights. Could someone explain this to me?

best,

Maybe the previous owner replaced the front bumper with a base bumper without fog lights?

I think that’s what happened. What would be the solution to get my fog lights back?

Uninstall actual bumper. Buy, paint and install a sport bumper. Buy and install fog lights. Hoping the harness for the fog lights haven't been damage in whatever happened previously that lead to the replacement of the front bumper.

Do you have the fog light switch in the car?

For me, on a 2009 car, I wouldn't spend that much money. Unless you can find the complete bumper with fog lights in a scrap yard for not too much money.

Yes I do have the switch. I’ll probably just stick to what I have then. Thanks a lot.

You can probably add fog lights to the base bumper, but they won't be the same as the ones in the sport bumper. They might not connect to the car harness without modification.

Don't know if somebody tried that?!

Kit for the base bumper. Plug n Play, no modifications necessary. Don't know if it's still available or not.

EDIT: Upon further review you have a Sport which should have the wiring and harnesses already in place. In which case you would need the light assemblies and the brackets in which to mount them. you can buy the fog light assemblies and covers, however I don't believe the brackets are sold separately.

I have not used my fog lights. Both work but lenses are cracked/broken on both. Still debating whether to fix them since I never use them.
