Can the regular bulbs be used with JDM Tailights

Can the regular bulbs be used with JDM Tailights
I am currently importing some JDM Rear lights from malaysia, and Im going to put them on my UKDM jazz, can I use the same bulbs as I use currently on the halogen rear lights on my new jdm rear lights that are LED (Only the the brakelight). Or do i need to get dedicated bulbs for the new LED lights
