This is my second attempt at building my carbon duck bill
So this is my second attempt at building my own carbon fiber duckbill spoiler although not quite as big as the first run I prefer this much more due to the weight savings and cleaner appearance in my opinion. Basically I started with a cheap Amazon reproduction ABS plastic one and used spray foam on it and shaped my form and then made it fiberglass mold of it and then did a carbon fiber wet lay and this is the result. I also did my own F1 style mirrors and made my own front lip in a similar to fashion but more like a skinning type carbon fiber job.
If I had the time and could do CF that well, I'd do a hole front lip and under tray...My front end has been hit by so much crap, it's zip tied together. Eventually I'll replace it and the hugely dented rear hatch, but right now I'm in between changing careers so, not a priority. Eventually though, who knows... you may get a DM asking about making the above pieces haha.
