Simple question which I want to confirm as I am getting mixed results outside this forum. Do GK5 (2017) lowering springs fit GE8 (2012) sports? I have a GE8 and have a hard time finding lowering springs for it in the used market and found some Tanabes DF501 on market place that are off a 2017 and guy said he had them on a GE8 but when I do research even on Tanabes site, it has 2 different part numbers for GK5 and GE8 springs. Also, when googling this, it says they are not the same nor do they fit. Then I read a guy on reddit who said he installed those exact springs on his GE8 so i am a bit confused. Can someone who has done it actually confirm this?

 

I seem to recall something about the GK5 rear springs rolling out of their seats when at full drop.

Maybe get some H&R springs off Tire Rack. I hear good things.

Ohh snap, def not something I want since its the wifes car.

 

Does she want the car lowered? I lowered my GE on swift springs and totally disagree with people saying it rode better than stock when lowered.
