need some help

ive had a bazooka tube lying aroun from a previous car and i finally installed it today. its pre-amplified, and well i spliced into the left and right rear door speakers for the left and right feeds shown in pic below. i also like every sterio install hooked a cable to the positive, than grounded. its a fairly new bazooka, and the fuse is okay. my question is i cant seem to remember what the hell the orange wire was for... I remember it being connected to a small thin wire. besides the little orange wire everything is perfectly hooked up, and no bass. so any advise for a forgetful soul?

Bazooka's website says the orange wire is the remote turn on.

where would i splice my remote on the stereo? is it on the stock harness, or like xwikedonex suggests and splice into the acc wire? its been two years since ive done a stereo install and i know that the remote is the reason to why i have no sound.

yeah ACC. I hooked mine up to the yellow wire. It should be connected to the ACC wire, aka the YELLOW wire of the stock wiring harness. That way, when u turn ur key on ACC but not turnin on the car, the amp will turn on too and when u press the button to turn OFF the headunit, the amp will turn off also.
