where u looking for a room? what's ur budget? i got a place about 1.5 hour drive from palm springs in la crescenta, CA. One bedroom and one bathroom huge living room and kitchen backhouse newly built (by me =]) in 2007. No previous owners. All utilities paid (heat, A/C, water, power, washer/dryer, cable) for $1000 a month. =] OH did i mention a private street w/ ur own parking spot and a spot to wash ur car and private side gated entrance? Man i just keep throwing in the goodies. Oh and a HONDA MECHANIC living 30 feet from u? =] Normally that would run about 1900 in glendale (la crescenta is the beverly hills of glendale it's at least 2x as expensive).
