I was in a Japanese shopping center (Ebisu for you who know it in Fountain Valley) and just chillin' in my friend's RX-8... Then a 20's white girl and her mom park next to us. I go CRAZY when i see fits so i thought i'd compliment her car. Well when she got out, i tried to get eye-contact, but she wasn't really looking. So i decided to say something. But the problem is i always say the oddest things... "Honda Fit!"

This was followed by a glare, then she just left. OOPSIE... was that not cool?
It was a base SSM by the way

Has anyone else encountered unwilling Fit owners? :*(

 

haha. personally i havnt encountered a bitter one yet. everyone so nice in a fit, they wave, or they smile...but not just look and leave heh.

Most Fit owners here in washington arent the enthusiasts type so if i do wave they usually ignore me or if im lucky give me a nod. To this day only aobut 2 fits waved back or gave me a thumbs up =[

 

I bumped into this girl when i was at my friends store and i was raving about the fit and she didn't even care. Maybe its just people who only think of their car as an A to B and not as an extension of who and what they are.

i would say something more clever, but then again, if it was a girl, i would choke up and say "honda fit" in my screech voice and then start doing the robot so i don't look stupid or anything

 

I think these "girls" aren't into the enthusiast crowd. The Fit is just bought because it is appealing, good gas mileage, cheap and what not.

I would also think you were weird for just yelling out "HONDA FIT!", but maybe she would of understanded you if you were in a Fit also and added more to say.

 

everytime i spot a fit, its a young girl that looks straight at the road, no waves, no looks, no nothin! spit!

i love love love my fit and always get happy when i see one on the road.

but usually its like an old guy/middle aged woman driving it.

ive yet to see a modded one on the road

 

whenever i see Fits on the road, i always wave or something. but i have yet to have anyone wave back. they always just look at me like "ytf are you waving at me? do i know you?" some people just don't get it, i guess...

 

haha yeah i think you have to actually "get it" or like care about your car in that way

 

HAHA I get that response here and there too. The happy folks that dont take life too seriously usually smile or wave back. The rest just look at you with the WTF look as well.

Hahah I pissed one off i think... it was during a fit cruise, and i saw a ssm and flased it... then it honked and it was an old man! HAHAHAHAAHAH
