has your fit injured you???

because mine did!!!

i was at the burger king drive-thru and i reached my elbow a little too far back and slammed my funny bone on the lock (it was unlocked at the time, therefore much deadlier to slam an elbow into).

has anyone else's fit turned on them too?

Smacked my right knee ( and patella tendon actually) on the forward edge of the drivers arm/control rest as i was getting out. OUCH!!! I made a funny face and let out a squeal that only odd animals and cartoon characters should ever make upon instant and significant trauma.

Ive hit my elbow on the lock also...

Ok... Tell me this happens to everyone, anytime you open your door it takes extra effort to open it ALL the way clear to get in. If you dont use some sort of force it opens a tad and you can hit your face on the pillar.

I have NOT hit my face there yet, Ive been so close many times. Even my mom mentioned it one day when I was out with her.

I have a technique. I pop the door open and catch it with my pointer finger and pull the door open with my finger.

God I thought I was the only one that had this happened to them. I wear glasses so I have actually banged my glasses against the pillar. Glad to know that someone else has done the same thing - I thought I was just having a senior moment! LOL!

this was all my fault, but you'll have to agree it takes the cake.
was recently with my friends at a concert. i had to have a cigarette but it was freezing and i didn't want any of my passengers to have to wait while i finished. i started the car and heater so they could warm up. as i was finishing, i got into the car, but first rolled the window down as to keep the 'rette outside. i hung my arm out the window as i drove through the parking lot to find a trash can and tossed the butt into one that was in a corner. i then rolled the window up and warmed up for a few seconds. knowing that i needed to back up, i figured i'd just stick my head out the window...that i just rolled up. straight in the face i smacked the rolled up window. we couldn't stop laughing.

Hmm, well my Fit shocks me almost every time I get out. I like to think it's because it likes me. Other than that...no injuries yet. /knocks on wood.

The only injury so far I got from my Fit is to my wallet.

Yeah yeah I know its an econo car, but a monthly payment is still a monthly payment, regardless of how much or how little it is.

Other than that, the Integra I sold before I got the Fit is still injury king because it drew blood and even added 4 stitches above my left eye. Damn car tried to kill me when it found out I decided to sell it.

When exiting the vehicle with pizza in hand, will do the no look door close move and occasionally cut hand on sharp piece of metal located on middle of door near the locking mechanism. Done it twice so far.

I witnessed a friend walk through a sliding glass door, air-walked over two steps down, and onto the driveway below. It looked super-human. He only sustained a cut to the forehead and knee, and a bit of mental shock. Band practice resumed shortly.

The Fit tore up my hand a bit installing the JDM Tail Lights, reaching into spaces that hands are not made to fit in.

sorry i just read this and i got a good laugh out of it.

the only real thing that i have injured myself with my fit is when i changing out the intake and my little brother honked my horn( he had just got back from walking the dog. and i hit my head on the hood.
