Yeah thats a good idea, weathers been terrible lately.. let me know how it drives.
One thing though. Who would buy an evo when you can get the Ralliart version for way cheaper. Yeah the Evos a bit better but not all that much, or is it??

i'm sure people will still buy the evo, it's just better haha. by how much its better is a good question, but why would people want to buy a worse version of a car if they can afford the best version of it haha.

there are a lot of people that feel this way. the ralliart makes sense for a lot of purchase habits. from the ppl stretching to afford it to the ppl that plan on heavy mods immediately, the ralliart has almost all the things that differentiate the evo in meaningful ways (AWD, AYC, SST 6 speed) and lets you save on parts that will probably end up eventually collecting dust (stock exhaust, intake, cams, turbo, suspension, brakes) by getting less pricey versions of it.

the evoX is cool and all. but imho. i like the way the regular lancers look. it looks simple and clean. and looks sportier than all the other lancers (excluding evos of course). id probably buy a ralliart over the evoX. mainly cause of price and i can deal not having recaro seats and wut not. but dont get me wrong. if i could afford id totally buy the evoX.

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart - Auto Shows - Car and Driver January 2008

according to this link, the ralliart does not come with AYC and comes with a smaller turbo and milder cam. still, for the price difference of nearly 10k...

hey according to the 2nd link from the original post, you'll still be getting recaros in the ralliart lancer...so you don't have to give that up either haha.

I bet these will be mistaken left and right for Evo's when they are out on the road. Its a great looking car! The Front has the Evo type grill, unlike the Lancer GTS. I bet fully loaded they will be right around 30k.
