Tell Me Im Not Crazy! Suspension Question!

hey guys i had my fit on a jack on the pasasnger side to install my cat back exhaust. for about an hour. when i droped the jack and got the car on the ground again i notice that the passanger side rear height is higher than the driverside rear hight. so im wondering and hope that what it is is that the spring just had time to decompress and needs to settle again. but im scared i effed something up. PLZ HELP. lol im a total nub. also i went under the car and checked and the last coil of the spring is about a finger bigger on the passanger side. thanks guys

haha it wasn't the spring! When you jack up your car on one side, you'll hear your ebrake screech a little. When you lower it, the rear tire is still in brake so it keeps up the car. Let go of the ebrake and car is back to normal. Go try it out :O

you have to do that on the driver side to make it rebalance again.

Whenever you jack up a vehicle especially if you have parking brakes on, you need to roll the vehicle a few feet after you let it down or the suspension stays cocked up. You should not leave a vehicle suspension stressed after being lifted regardless.

Get a little more experience actually working on cars and you will know that is perfectly normal after raising and lowering a car on it's suspension and it will go away by itself without you having to do anything about it.
