crankshaft pulley tool

saw an article in a tuner magazine about replacing the stock crankshaft pulley with lighter one and listed a honda part to help hold and remove the pulley ..it is #07mab-py3010a ..thought i would pass this along since a few fit owners wanted to replace the pulley such as me

In most cases these days a puller isn't needed with newer cars. It becomes a lot harder to remove an old pulley on a car that has lots of miles on it. Just FYI.

Just use the old mechanics method of rope down the spark plug hole.

i don't think he's talking about the puller, but you're right... a puller should not be needed

This seems true, but i've had the harmonic dampener move on several k20's and a couple D series unless i used the holder tool.
No experience on the L, but i hope to install a T1R pulley soon

besides, you could prolly borrow said tool from autozone/advanced for cheap
