after watching that video on the front page(spoon), I think that is an idea of what to expect of airbags on turns. although there might be stiffer ones but airbags are spendy plus you need a place for the compressor. The only thing I like is I could slam it to the ground when parked. Otherwise, I'd like to keep a stiffer suspension.

Funny you say cause I've been interested in air bags lately.

I've got Tein Basics on the car right now, but am looking into air bags.

I'll keep you posted.

I looked into it but was told by one of my lowrider boys that air shocks would work better and you wouldnt have to cut and adjust everything. They have cylinders that can fit in your spare tire area as well but then you lose your spare and there is alot of added weight so i chickened out. I just wanted to do the front so i could raise and lower it so i dont scrape on anything but imo not worth the money. The added weight doesnt really help with the handling and thats what im going for. My .02 cents atleast.

Funny I was just thinking of this last night. I have done a little research and there are no premade kits for the Fit I can find. I was trying to price out just what a rear kit would be for now, the compressor, tank, lines, fittings, and valves are not to expensive. The bags aren't bad either I just need to figure out which style would work best. The front would use air struts which you would have to wait for someone to make or modify some civic/integra ones to fit. The rear I'd just replace the spring with a bag and leave the shock in place.

Yes. I have them on rear of my Fit. Check the posts for '...need new suspension design...' for details. Installation was soooo simple. The only oddity is using washers to fill the spacxe between yoke (upside down squared off Y) and the Airlift lower bushing width, If memorey serves it is Monroe 811's. Works very well ! if you carryheavy loads in back.

But if youre talking about Firestone airbags instead of springs. no. Didn't see the use.

yeah i am talkin bout air bags not air shocks..but bags like on low riders, minitrucks that drag, it seem like on rear would fit between spring mount top and bottom after removing the springs..front would have to be prob air struts..
