I had to start this seeing that i finally got back earlier today from my stint in So Cal for work. I was gone for 5 weeks and i tell you when i saw my car all filthy and gross looking sitting in the parking lot i didnt care one bit cause i had to go for a spin. It took me a min to get used to the clutch again and the size, i was driving a 15 passenger ford van the whole time. haha. It felt like a go cart and it was like a new car again. Im happy i got it back and now finally i can finish all the projects that i have in store for it. Well maybe sunday cause i have to drive to GA in a couple hours. haha. my longest has only been 3 days but felt forever. he was snowed in, i took my other
car to work. was real happy to get back into my FitS. luv the thing.

 

Yea its nice to be home but i still have a million things i have to get done before returning to work on tuesday. On top of that i have to drive to GA today to get the wife and i cant seem to raise the energy to do so. haha. I should take pics of the car cause it is so terrible i dont even want to be seen in it but im to lazy to wash it before i leave

 

Longest I went without my Fit was a week. My friend and I took a road trip down to St. Pete, Florida. Stayed there for a week for a wedding, then we left for Miami, where I left my Fit in the garage while we where in Aruba. The fact that I was in the car for over 24 hours straight both on the way down and way up kinda made up for not seeing it for a week though, lol.

 

this past monday/tues/wed/thurs and its killing me! i traded with my sister for her RSX-S this week because she needed to drive down to San Diego.. like 80+ miles one way because her friend is helping fix her RX-7. Although I-VTEC is really fast and 2 times the power is nice and so is 8000 rpm... I WANT MY FIT BACKKK!!! WAAAAA i cant see Anything with the blind spots from hell!!

Well I bought my Fit Monday only to be rear ended on Tuesday (this week mind you) so I'm going 4 days with out my super fun to drive go cart!!!!!

By the time its said and done It'll be 8 total days. SUPER LAME is you ask me but oh well.

 

damn, that's terrible! hope you get your car back real soon!

 

6 going on 7 months

 

the longest ive been away from my car was the two weeks i was in japan. i had my friend watch it for me and start it up everyday. when i got back to driving, it was the best feeling in the world.

 

Mine was 3 months when it was in the body shop.

 

i spent a week without my car... i almost cried

 

my time was about two minutes Spur of the moment thing....me and the wife with some friends decided to stop in a top-rated steakhouse with no reservations. It was the first time ive ever had valet parking. So we get out and off they go with my baby. ( of course he mashes the pedal) Go inside only to realize there is a two hour wait, so im like no..were going somewhere else. Walk outside to leave, and the punk just got done parking the Fit when i tell 'em to go fetch it back. I felt like a neglectful Fit owner having some complete stranger/moron drive my car as watch it drive away. Never again will i have valet parking! end rant...

 

2 month b/c i was in Southeast Asia and then month and half b/c it in the body shop....it the best feeling ever getting back into your car!!!!!

 

No more then 3 days for me. I dont go on many vacations haha.
6 months Chris??? Thats crazy!

About 14 hours. Of course I just got the car in January.

 

one day! but hey i got to drive an EVO X =)

 

man i was away from my fit for 3 whole days. it was in the body shop getting repaired.

 

longest for me was about 3 months. Body shop took forever =[

 

6 days total for me: the first 3 day stint was when my bf and i drove to boston and back. we took his car, of course, seeing as i'd only had my fit for a week at the time.

the second 3 day jaunt was when it was in the shop getting the bumpers repainted. i was soooo glad to get my fit back after driving that loaner accord. but, i'll soon be without it again as the bumper have to get repainted AGAIN. blah

 

Dang thats a long time. I take it your V2.0 project maybe?
