Will an EP3(Civic SI) Steering Wheel fit a Fit?

Hi fellow members,

Does anyone know if an EP3 steering wheel will fit directly into our fits? Any help would be great. Thanks!

I would imagine the splines on the 2 wheels are the same.

i would love one of these, one of the best honda wheels ever. granted, while ours isn't as nice, its attached to a superior steering rack.

Yeah I was just curious to see if anyone has done this swap before. It is a nice steering wheel.

i found a write-up from EP3 Steering wheel into EM2 - Civic7.com Forums! on an ep3 steering wheel conversion; they modified their cruise control buttons to fit. can we take the cruise control buttons from a 7th gen civic and make it work for our Fits?

once again the base owners one up the sport owners LoL. Base Fit 91285601640 / Sport Fit 0

Has anyone considered the newer Civic FD2 type R steering wheel, I know that the new '09 Honda Fit is getting a similar steering (same just no red stitching or emblem) so as long as the hub is the same from GD3 to GE8 it should fit right? Plus you can just buy the cruise control buttons from a newer Civic Si from a Honda dealership and put them on the steering wheel.
