yea i wasent planing on keeping it off i was just playing around i might get a cheap short ram to put on and off if i just go out to play and put the stock back on for long trips, i was just looking on the thread about the ep3 exhaust i might try and find one of those to get rid of the nasty stock look. think ill lose any mpg from that exhaust? if i lose any i dont think it will be a whole lot

not sure. it is a more powerful engine, so probably more free flowing.. BUT it is from a stock car, so it can't be too crazy lol

There are plenty of us making our own "short ram" intakes from parts bought right off the shelf at Auto Zone. Costs about $50 to $60 depending on how many parts you get... or you could pay $150 - $250+ for a name brand one.

I had no change in mileage with my axleback and short ram. And it's still continued to improve since I did the swap last fall.

Good luck with whatever you end up doing.

shoot i noticed a gas increase with my cai. without it i lost like 3-5 mpg it was crazy!

hence why i prefer to run my car with the cai.

i bought a k&n filter for my stock air box during the winter, i have not tried it out yet.
