I recall quite a few eons ago when I believe it was mandatory for USA auto makers to have 5 mph crash protection bumpers. Then when they went to 2 1/2 mph, I know auto makers went out of their way to express it when they still held to the 5 mph standard. Does anybody know what the crash rating protection is for the Fit? Also roughly how fast would you have to go in a head on collision before the air bags deployed?

 

i know the bumper is built to the 5mph standard.... dunno bout the airbag
