SURFboard is ON!!!

Hey guys,

My parts just got back from the paint booth and I installed the grill and spoiler today.

I did not have enough time to install the front lip yet coz I couldn't quite figure how to take the sport lip out.
GAWA? JEFFQUACH? TOOL? how did you guys install the lip? any help???

Anyways, I couldn't wait and had to go out and snap couple pictures although the lip is not on yet.

Enjoy

Car is looking good. That spoiler is huge. :O
And the rep grill doesn't look too shabby at all, in comparison to when I saw them pre-paint. How do you like the fitment?

I removed the bumper to take off the lip, I think there's like, the four? screws at the sides of the lip, a couple accessible inside the bumper and a couple elsewhere? I forget exactly. But to put the lip on I used a bunch of tapping screws at the bottom of the lip. Probably gonna replace some tapping screws later with bolts, washers and nuts, but for now tapping screws are holding the lip on fine. Couldn't use the stock mounting points at the sides though, cause the lip doesn't wrap around.

Removal of the front lip requires the front bumper to be removed. Its a lot easier with the front bumper removed.
Car looks great. I think Im going to be getting a new spoiler. Mine keeps breaking.

I only sanded down the rough edge of the grill all around a little. Otherwise fitment was GREAT! better than i expected.

So the lip did not came with any mounting holes in it.... it did came with marks (like little circles) where I suppose to drill the holes?

Mine wiggles just very very little I think. It might get worse over time we'll see. HA! Fitment was OK and I put a thicker layer of 3m tape in the middle as you suggested and I worked great! I even took out the white plastic hole thing which was for the oem spoiler to level out the surface even more.
