Dealer says they cant get me a fit.

I am looking to buy an 09 Fit. Here is what I asked for...

2009 Honda Fit
Sport Package
Navi Package
Manual Transmission
Taffetta White

They are telling me I cant get it and I should look at the automatics without navi. How long would it take to get one? Are there really none available? Honda wont build it for me? He says they build the base models right away but not fully loaded Fits. Any info would be great. Thanks

right now manual Navi's are very scarce. They should be able to order it on their next allocation. then it will take about 90 days to get there

My dealer is telling me around January if I order a silver storm sport, auto w/navi here in Michigan. They tell me that they have a lot of people ordering right now.

Man not what I wanted to hear. My car (99 civic si) was stolen this morning and I need a car quick. If the dealer had what I wanted I would buy it right now but I cant wait more then a couple of weeks and I am not getting a base or auto fit.

I know for a fact there is a Taffeta White MT Sport here in Phoenix as I write this.

I wish people would be a little more specfic in their profille as to their location..

USA? Well, duh. How about "Earth"..

Why don't you buy one that's not in your area and go get it? I did it and it was almost painless.

When I got tired of waiting for my Fit to arrive to the local dealership, I called dealerships in Ohio and Kentucky to see what they had. Go outside your area to see if you could locate your car. Also your local dealership can have a car picked up in another state and driven to the dealership if they would be willing to go the extra mile for you.

Hope it doesn't take that long and nice choice of the TW Fit that is one sweet looking Fit.

Cat :x

I'm certainly not disappointed with my AT - car has plenty o' pep, I usually drive in "d", sometimes in "s", and I even use the paddles from time to time. ;-)

I use my car when I want to take a break from motorcycling. That takes a lot more Attention.

Don't buy unless it's exactly what you want. They'll tell you anything to sell you what they have or can get easily. Make them do their job and get the one you're asking for.

And the motion passes! Wait for an MT! By the way I've talked to my salesman and actually cruised through the lot and, to the best of my knowledge, We've seen NO fits whatsoever in KC. Supply may be an issue but be patient. You'll see threads from AT owners wanting to convert their cars to MTs. Completely idiotic beyond belief! Just be patient!
