How much did you pay to paint your lip kit/body kit?
I was just curious about how much everyone has been paying to have their custom body work painted. I've been considering doing something subtle but I just can't see myself paying $750 to have a $400 lip kit painted.
So...how much did you pay for paint?

I would say about 400-500$ for a bumper, you could get it cheaper but this is America "you get what you paid for"
. Painting a new bumper requires about 6-8 hrs of labor to be honest. First, you have to sand it then promoter/adhesive need to lay on then top it of with the sealer or surfacer. After, the sealer is cured more sanding then finally the bumper need to clean well before apply the base and clearcoats. Last, the newly painted bumper need to be color sand and polish. Yep, thats the whole process of painting a new bumper.

ya i got rear ended on the freeway awhile ago and all the that happened to the rear bumper is the guy behind me had his front license plate bolts were indented in the back of mine, i got some quotes from local paint shops and just to touch up the indents and repaint they said around 400 bucks just for one bumper, so i said forget it, ill touch it up with some touch up paint and if someone rear ends me again ill get a new rear bumper automatically bec the guy on the freeway took off thats why i couldnt get it repaired
