Beautiful Night on the Prairie

I hope you guys are out on the road and going places tonight. We went 60 miles to Quincy for Thai food for supper. Great little place was hopping tonight. Hot and spicy takes care of the sinuses, too.

It's almost a full moon. Wouldn't have needed the headlights except to see the critters. It was way too pretty to sit around the house. The Fit is a great great excuse to go for a drive.

Between Carthage and Tennessee I had to swerve to avoid a possum on the way home. I was going 70 mph. You know what happened? Nothing. VSA took all of the drama out of it. We and the possum both made it. That's the first time VSA came on for us. I wouldn't really have noticed it except that the system reduced engine power automatically as I swerved. No tire screeching, and the car was absolutely under full control the whole time. All I had to do was steer. Really inspires confidence in the Fit's emergency handling.

Cheers.

that's good to hear that the VSA is useful in dangerous conditions like that!
