2009 Wet okole seat covers

I am thinking about getting a set for the front. Has anyone installed these? On the web site it says you don't have to remove the seats. Just want to double check.

Has anyone seen both the Wet Okole and the Coverking ? How do they compare? I am wanting the neoprene type. The Wet Okole has colors that would match the Orange Fit that I have.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did a search and did not find the answer to my questions.

Thanks

Russ

This is so laughable, cause they're originally from Hawaii, Okole means a$$ like in buttocks.

so literally you're asking for "wet ass seat covers."

and it's pronounced (O koo leh) not Ocole, lol.

but yeah they're good seat covers. Not sure about the coverking ones, but I did order a Coverking Custom car cover for my other car from Costco and it was great value for the money.

Thanks for the input. I am not sure about the prices. On the web site they are $235.00 with free shipping. I am not sure what type Vincent is getting for $500.00. I may have missed something however. I am going to double check the pricing.

Thanks

Russ

Is it possible to put covers on the front seats I didnt think you could because of the airbags?

I have Wet Okoles on my '07 (front only). I had to remove the seats to insatall them due to the low clearance. They have cutouts for the airbags and will not obstruct their deployment. I recommend them.

I have Wet O'kole's in my '08 and love 'em! It was a little over $600 for the front & back. Never took out any seats to install and it was fast & easy! You can order 'em in all different styles and colors, so do your research.
I have pics in one of my threads...

I bought the coverkings for my 08. I was very dissapointed. For a custom cover I thought they looked like something from Walmart. It was also very hard to get in touch with anyone at Coverking to answer questions. Lesson learned.

I have pics in one of my threads...

This is why I hate seat covers, they never seem to fit. You should try to iron them. I think if I wanted to spend $500, I would just get them reupholstered.

I don't really want seat covers but I have a dog. The seats are very dark and shows all the dog hair. These seats seem to attract the hair and it is time consuming to clean the hair off the seats. I am hoping the seat covers on the front and blankets in the back seat will do the trick. I have a 98 F150 and it never shows any hair but the seats are a much lighter gray color.

Thanks for all the input. Keep it coming if there is more information.

hanapaa808, thanks for the great pics. I am going to show them to the wife.

Thanks

Russ

I have the wet okole covers for the front seats on my 07'. Great fit and quality overall.

I highly recommend you unbolt the seats to install these though. It was a real pain to fasten all the straps under the seats properly.

By the way, you can option these with adjustable lower back lumbar support airbags too. Ahhh, my back feels great now!

They showed up at $235 with free shipping because that's just the front seats. I used to have some wet okole covers in my 85 4Runner. They were amazing. They never really made a lot of sense to me to put them in anything but a jeep or something with a removable top since they are essentially wet suites for your seats.

I wonder how these covers will work with the armrest on the GE's. Maybe remove it and reinstall over the covers?

Dude, the wrinkles and creases you see is only because it was folded in the packages right before it was installed. The pics were taken right after it was installed. After a few days all the wrinkles came out. These covers fit like a glove! Also, I don't think ironing neoprene would be a good idea!

On top where the zipper part is, is that part still wavy looking? It does kind of seem a bit loose to me too.

It is not loose at all! Try pulling off your headrests and tell me if it's smooth. I don't think so!... That's where the slits are in the cover for the headrest post to go into the seat. If I were to put the headrest back on you would not see it, but I chose to keep 'em off for better view out the rear window.

Those Wet O'Kole look great and a really good idea, too. I have three small dogs, all black, so seat covers are a very good idea.

Thanks for the posting.

Could someone post up pics to show how tight the seat covers fit? I just don't want to spend this much cash and have them look like I got them at Walmart. Thanks
