Look what my 2007 Honda Fit did today
Ok finally got to my first car show of the year and it was fun. It was hosted by a Scion dealership, Scions got to show for free, we had to pay but it was OK supported our local car club. I was up until after 11:00 PM after a really hard day at work which just beat me down. Washed, clayed and waxed then interior detailing and detailing the engine bay.
Here were some of the nice cars that were also showing :

I still can not believe it. Several people came up to ask me qustions about the car and said that they really love the mods I had done it. One guy wanted to know what made me decide to do anything with the car since I was not a young person - I blamed it on my Fit Freaks! and Marc and his Mugened MR Fit in Siphon. Anyway wanted to share that we did better at the show than I expected. Had a great time hanging out with car people and got a nice award to put on the wall. I was shocked when my name was called for this placing because I consider a tuner car one that has performance mods but they like the way I had selected a theme and had kept true to that theme.

Hello Cat!! First CONGRATS!!! Second....where was the show? My daughter lives in St Albans and might have gone had I known! I just got my Fit Monday so I ain't done anything yet....I too am not a 'young person' ...probably older than you...maybe the oldest on the BB...but still love my cars!

that's awesome.
basically just dont put on all the ricor-crap on the car and do a modest tune tastefully.
that's really the trick. unless you're going to be displaying at HIN or something do everything modestly.

And add my congratulations to the rest! Gotta ask: What have you added/modded ? I can see the Mugen visors and neck pillows in the picture, but what else?
