Just picked up my fit

So I just picked up my fit this afternoon and I really am liking the car. I wasn't too excited about it after trading in my 01 S4 Avant. But with fuel prices and maintenance on the S4 being what it is the FiT seemed like a good car. But now that I have been driving it around, I really like it. It's a beautiful car, handles great, not too bad in the power dept. I got the silver sport MT. The color is real nice and it looks a lot better in person then in pictures.

My only wish would be that it came with a sunroof and the carpet in there is real cheap. Glad that I got the floor mats.

BTW, anyone know if there are any aftermarket/Honda roof racks avaliable for the FiT? Also, are there any aftermarket leather shifter boots available?

Cograts, I did the same thing, I got a Silver MT Sport and got out of my WRX. Terrible gas mileage + premium gas = alot of money

Yeah, my WRX got awful gas mileage too, although that was probably largely a function of the fact that I buried the throttle about 99% of the time.

That thing was just generally very expensive to own, it ate gas, tires, and brake pads pretty quickly, and my insurance was sky-high ($5k/year).

I need to call my insurance company about the Fit, see what kind of quote I could get on it.

I'm in the same boat with a PT Cruiser turbo. The heat cooks the plug wires so that they need replaced along with plugs every 15k miles. Not to good MPG and it is premium also. Insurance not as bad as with the WRX.
It is fun to drive but you pay for it.

I'm thinking of trading my '00 A4 2.8 Quattro on a Fit. Glad to hear the step down to the Fit wasn't too traumatic
Between gas and maintenance/repairs on the A4, I'm just burned out on it and ready for something different, newer and less complicated.
