if your battery keeps draining on you after just a couple days. You probably have a parasitic draw somewhere or the battery is dead or about to be dead. If you're still clicking and have some lights still working, you probably got a little juice left in there. Stick that badboy on a slow charger for a few hours and see what happens.

Expensive batteries die too. Car batteries aren't meant to be drained and recharged all the time. I remember when the optima yellow tops first came out, they said it could be drained and charged numerous times. Well my optima died after a year of such abuse. But thats what warranties are for. optimas had a 2 year warranty, but looks like kinetiks only have a 1 year.

alright let me charge it for a while then. dosent stock batterys last along time. i thought having a kinetik will last for more then just a year.

so i can rule out the starter and alternator then.

so having a full system does taking a beating on batterys

what can i do to last my battery for more then just a year.

its weird cause i can listen to the music on the 1st click and have lights on, thats why i thought it wasnt my battery and it was something else.
