even though i LOVE Fitfreaks.net, in the past i came across many other Honda Fit sites and can't remember who they were...they were in my other laptop, and the Hard Drive crashed, loosing all the sites!

 

I've never checked for any other sites. Perhaps give Google a try.

 

i think hondafitforums.com? iono its the other one that the "Banned" members took over. Anywho Im more than confident that you be on the other site much.

 

I'd sure be curious to know how someone could be banned from this forum. I've seen more venom spewed on this forum than any other forum I've been on.

 

This site is actually pretty calm... and yes it IS difficult to be banned from here... so that tells you.

 

fitfreak is the best around for fits, no other forum is close

 

That other site mentioned in this topic sucks, Honda-Tech has a fit section but its deader than a Toyota driver on a rainy Friday night trying to hit his breaks. This site owns, plain and simple.

 

^ every fit forum ive seen is dead besides this one i was scared this one was going to be dead when i found it.

 

i agree, this forum is very tame compared to other forums. it seems people here are a lot more polite and hold their tongues (for the most part) when they don't have anything nice to say. once in a while somebody offends somebody else, but it's not even close to near as often as other sites.

 

This forum is VERY MILD compared to others.

 

compared to honda-tech and others, this site is godly

I've never been to other Fit forums, but to repeat what the others have said, this is a polite forum. Try The Car Lounge out for a while. It's a fun site, but people take no prisoners.

 

HotIron, thank you...i have come across some Honda Fit Sport websites in the past and you were right....many people were rude and smart a$$es, however i live in South Florida...and since many of the people here are from New York City and Boston, i am use to the rudeness

 

ftlmatt, that's funny. Yea, Bostonians aren't the friendliest bunch, and yes, I'm born and raised Massachusetts North Shore. I would even suggest that the New Yorkers are friendlier than Bostonians, but you didn't hear that from me.

 

Lol! Venom? On this site? Man, with all due respect, you must be somewhat of a virgin forum visitor. I've seen forums where no discussion could take place for solid bashing and argument. And I've visited forums with members who's conversations were laced with so much rudeness, crudity and profanity they probably made Merchant Marines blush!

Compared to some, this forum is completely tame. Matter of fact, I don't recall seeing any "venom" posted here, at all!

Not that I want to see any here, mind you.

This is a pretty cool forum... all the way around.

 

Well, we do have "The Wasteland," which is mostly unmoderated, but you can still get reported for TOS violations. Yes, this is a tame forum, even the flames don't burn as long or as fiercely as many forums.

Every once in a while, some hater will post something nasty and then stop again.

Edited to say I think it's a FOCUSED forum, not nec. a tame one, we all LOVE our cars and want to share that with other freaks, so even if someone gets an attack of stupid, we are all freaks so we make allowances. I'd lift a glass with anyone here, and I've had the honor of meeting quite a few of the nearby freaks at a meet. When you are going to meet up with people IRL, you can't go nuts on them.
