Aftermarket items that came with my Fit

When I bought my used Fit from a Honda dealership, I had no clue at the time that 5 interior trim pieces in it were aftermarket. I like them for the most part, my only problem is I would have ordered silver pieces to match the color of my car, not the blue pieces who ever the last owner was installed in it.

Hi. Yeah I think the Silver will be more appropriate. Blue is kinda ricey IMO.

I never thought it was a good color for any automobile. One other option in my Fit though that I would have chose differently is instead of the all-weather mats I found in my Fit, I would have chose the carpeted mats instead. There's plenty of reasons why I'm no fan of the all-weather mats. For example, they fit poorly in my car. They're way too big, and make me wonder if perhaps they were designed for the 2nd generation Fit instead of the 1st generation I don't know, all I know is carpeted mats are easier to live with. Carpeted mats stay cleaner than the all-weather mats do too.

I don't know if you are talking about the OEM all weather mats but my OEM all weather mats fits perfectly. Easier to clean than the carpet, just host it and wipe it dry. And if the mat is not that sandy, muddy and just have shoe marks. I just spray it with protectant made by turtle wax and wipe it with a rag. I just prefer the all weather mats. I used to have carpet mat(from Walmart) and the accelerator pedal put a hole in it.

I kinda wish I had the rubber mats instead of the carpet ones. The carpet ones definitely make the car look more comfortable inside, but my heels are starting to wear holes in them. I would assume the rubber mats in terms of durability would be much better.

I remember my old Sentra SE-R matt had a hole developing it, where I kept my left foot on the clutch pedal. But that mat had to be about 15 years by that time anyhow. It was easy to find replacement mats for that car, since the foot wells aren't in the odd shapes the Fit is in + there was no hooks on the floor either to attach the mats too. I could easily live without those overkill hooks.

I have sprayed my mats clean many a times. I still prefer just taking carpet mats out and shaking them or vacuuming them if they're a real mess. Especially since I have a vacuum handy in my garage. I think some plush carpet would help spice up the cheap interior too.
