Since attending the Bug Out in Manassas VA with another aircooled buddy I got the beetle itch again and decided to go looking for aircooled beetle #2 (previous was a 73 super). A few days and phone calls later I found this, a 69 standard, 3rd owner and 99% complete car. It's been sitting, and seldomly started under a car port for 2 years so it needs brakes, tires, and a complete fuel system overhaul. Some rust spots below the windshield and rear window, but nothing thats not fixable; definitely the makings for a fun summer project, not sure of the direction yet. Suggestions?
