Looks like they are going for a slightly more upscale and refined look. I think it could look good once the 'H' graces the rear. Reminds me more of a mini Accord now than a Civic, but they kept the styling cues in there for sure. It's probably grown a few inches, as all these cars have, so it might really be like a mini Accord, kind of how the new Jetta is a mini Passat.

ew...not a fan. rims don't do it for me, and the car looks to plain. if this is what they will look like, hopefully it'll look better in person.

I like it exterior wise, seems like a grown up version of the Insight. I'm not digging the setup for the instrument cluster at all though (analog traditionalist), in fact the cluster setup looks worse than the '06 to now roach-body Civics in my opinion.

I'm hoping that's not the next gen Civic Sedan, what a waste. Perhaps it's just a mid-cycle refresh of the Honda City (foreign market car). That wouldn't be too far of a stretch in my opinion, what do you guys think?

The look is more upscale, less boy racer. That is why it doesn't appeal to ricers. Honda does not want to catter to ricers. They want the green image, not performance image. The front (grill, lights, etc.) looks like an Insight. I like the dash.

Very nice looking. With the Fit as the cheap car, they can push the Civic a bit more upscale. Somehow though, the doors and roofline don't look much different than the current one.

The front clip look very Insighty, and the rear looks to me like a Saturn Aura

Fail! It looks terrible. I would never buy that car. The current body style I like, except the speedo. I just couldnt get past that, hence the Fit purchase.

It just looks like a Camry to these eyes. Sorry.

Also Honda doesn't seem to have learned its lesson with the FD/FA/FG's space-wasting two-tier dashboard. They're actually sticking with it.

Damn I really prefer the current version. The new one looks so bland to me; looks so much cheaper for some reason...

I wonder if this is a Middle East version. They love their big, bland sedans over there.

I would bet on this.

I've seen a whole lot of cars from this region and this one fits right in there.

I don't think we have much to worry about.

ps.. i really hate the effing desert

That's an Element, not a Civic!
