Just bought a new 2011 GE8 - down here in San Jose and I'd like to get the rear 5 windows tinted, any suggestions?

A GE8 in 2009 was 240$ for all (ten?) windows (so including sun strip).

There was another cheaper shop in Hayward / San Leandro a coworker recommended which I don't remember off-hand. My pre-tint research indicated most or all (metallized) tint brands were effectively the same (with respect to fading and wear) in the mild Bay Area weather, so experience was more a concern for me. PFI is local for me and was/is supposedly used by the local dealerships. My tinted car hasn't faded of bubbled yet, but that should take a few more years even in Bay Area weather.

New CARB regulations for 2012 will hopefully result in changes in the 88% min VLT restriction in the Vehicle Code.

wifey got her mazda 5 done at Mr. tint. it was $180 for 3 windows, so not sure how the price would be for the fit. but they do really good work.

Haha, no, I'm driving a polished metal (one of the newer colors iirc). And unfortunately, also haven't played flag football in a while.
