They are also addressing the TSB for too optimistic MPG meter (lifetime average is 41mpg, it is reading over 50mpg right now) while it is in for service. I will post a video of the engine sounds after I get it back this evening.

On the one here, the nasty rattling noises you would hear upon acceleration from a cold start are completely gone after the recall.

 

Just did my motion springs recall 3 weeks ago. No change that is noticeable under any circumstances... idling, revving, accelerating, decelerating, etc. Seems all the same to me.

 

I wonder if the cold engine noises were from the dealer who adjusted the valves too loose on a previous repair.

 

My Post video was taken in the parking lot of the dealership. I believe my engine was cold. *shrugs*
