How Bout The Megan Racing Axle-Back??

Honda Fit Megan Racing Axle-Back Exhaust Drift Spec
YouTube - ‪2009-2011 HONDA FIT MEGAN RACING DRIFTSPEC AXLEBACK EXHAUST‬‏

Anyone have this muffler and/or any thoughts? I like it because it seems to sound good and it's only about $200 which is half of what some of the other high end mufflers cost and a third of what the great sounding but ridiculously priced Mugen one costs.

I got one used, it was painted flat black. I like the sound it makes, at least I can hear some noise indicating rev's, before it was just tire noise and wind buffet.

so it's plenty loud enough to hear when you're driving but not roaring when you're on the highway?

It makes more noise than the stock muffler, it's not overbearing.... Normal driving you hear it, cruising on the expressway you barely hear it, unless you get on it

It likely isn't. From what I have seen, that is kind of the trend of exhausts now. I actually think it looks better than a straight shot down a 5" muffler.

Sorry this is so huge! Using Photobucket and it sucks. Anyway, this is mine. I love it! Great tone -gets better with age. Sounds much nicer than the stock but not loud however you can hear the car when it starts and you can hear the shifts. I have had this on for over a year and it still looks great and cleans up perfect for car shows.

^ sweet thanks! any sound/video files of it? i mean, i know they sound good so not really important. i wouldn't get the double exhaust because i have a GE with the single cutout in the bumper, but still, these megan racing axle backs look great, and aren't 600 damn dollars! i'll definitely get the drift spec in the near future i think.

btw, who is that hanging from the tow hook??? that's a tow hook, yeaH?

I don't have a sound clip but if you go on You Tube there are several on there. I have tried to attach this one: YouTube - ‪Honda Fit - Megan Racing‬‏

It is a great set up for the money and like I said before - I've not had any issues with it at all.

Didn't even know you had an exhaust.

Had one before and painted the body flat black. Look great, affordable price, and two smaller tips meant it didn't scrape the ground like a single larger tip.
I got rid of it due to being a bit loud with me having an I/H/midpipe combo.

Last year I did the rims, CF hood and the exhaust. I waited last year for my warranty to expire but wish now I had done it sooner. Makes a huge difference in the sound of the car. This year I traded out the back tail lights for LED's and I am hoping to purchase new tires in the next few weeks. The thing hanging from the rear tow hook is my Good Luck Cat - keeps me safe and love watching people driving behind trying to figure out what it is! LOL!

Yeah, I noticed when you got rims and hood. Already getting tires? You just got the wheels or is it for the oem wheels?

I've been rolling the Dunlops with the new rims and I just put 23,000 miles on the car - pretty good for a car that is now 4 years old. I have always hated the Dunlops for their rough ride and I am having trouble deciding on which tires to get to replace. Everytime I think I've found some good ones some tells me horror stories about an experience their friend had with the same tires. I wanted to stay in the Yokohoma, Toyo lines but some people say they are not good tires.
