That's pretty sick

 

Hyundai's design engineers have been working overtime the passed few years and producing some really fine automobiles. Every time I see something nice coming down the road, I end up saying to myself, "Oh! That's a Hyundai!"

 

no way~.... that looks absolutely ugly now. :( it's like they took a subaru and infiniti and did some werd mix.

 

Hey if they get the the Subaru low note then that would be cool... :-)

That's a 3d render, but looks pretty close the the dimly lit spy shots taken of the actual one in a factory. Not liking the hood vents

 

Wish they put the 5.0L Tau V8 in there but the V6 got a power increase. I've driven a 2011 Genesis Coupe 3.8 and I loved the sound of it, but the interior was so so.

 

Has anyone ever been impressed by the Hyundai interior? I hate the blue crap. They way it is in there just feels cheap to me..

 

I know what you mean, but it was also the smell. I don't know what it was but I smelled another Genesis Coupe on the lot and it smelled the same it gave me a massive headache for some reason I've never had that happen before. I overnight test drove it and it did turn some heads on the beach. Everyones like "What car is that?!" then it's the "Oh wait it's a Hyundai never mind...."

 

Lol I haven't ever driven a brand new one (I manage a Valet company), but I do know what you mean by the turn heads. We have a regular who owns a white v6 R-SPEC that is debaged. And when people are like, "what is that?!?!" and we tell them its a hyundai the immediate reaction is usually "oh, never mind"

 

I have a good friend who bought a 2011 or '12 (I forget) Hyundai Sonata 2.0t and that car is bad ass and FAST! Too much money for me but very nice nonetheless.

 

They just need to put the engine and twin scroll turbo of the Sonata Turbo into the Genesis Coupe Turbo and it would be good.

 

To me Hyundai's always look cheap in person. The current Genesis looks good in pictures but whenever I see them on the road I think they look terrible.

Does anyone remember the Volkswagen Phaeton? It was deemed the $60,000 answer to the question nobody asked. To me, the Genesis is a poor mans version of that.

 

I agree. They dont look as good in person as they do in pictures.

 

For 1/2 the price? I'll take it... if I was in the market for one... But I'm not...
