Question Any Recommendations for no-brainer mods for my 2012 Fit Sport Auto

I have little to no mechanical ability. I was just wondering if anyone had some mods that would be good to do? Thanks!

No-brainer? Put some miles on it first then you can get a better feel for what you want to do. Non-mechanical no-brainers? Stick with decals and badges... all for looks... Enjoy your new ride. Window tints are what many go for...

K&N drop in air filter?

Open hood, there's like 2 clips, take old filter out, put new one in.

does your car have a nav? if not i suppose you can get those brackets that mount to your CD opening and make a holder for your phone.

or a power socket to USB socket so you can charge your mobile while you're in the car.

my wife also likes the auto-dimming compass mirror i installed (gentex) purchased from amazon.

Really, mods should be about something you want added or dislike about the current setup. Swapping out the interior lights for LEDs is pointless if you think the current lights are fine, for example. For me, they were way to dim and I have a habit of leaving the door/hatch open.

Tint the car. Replace the horn. Get all weather floor mats.

I pretty much like the Fit the way it is, so I just did some small stuff. Red flame pin-stripping, and blue led interior lights. Brigher than stock, and I like the blue. Might use some red paint to accent the grill, and painted the front calipers red. Didn't even have to remove the wheels.

I like these! I would add to detail the heck out of it. As in, complete wash, clay bar, plexus the plastics, and good polymer sealant.

Seems like "mods" is a all encompassing term.

For some people a Mod...is a real modification. Or mechanical change to the engine or suspension.

At other times, people consider a mod...mostly cosmetic, window tinting, side mouldings, window vents...that type of stuff..

And then finally it seems to some a Mod is what I call "convience or gadget" adding.

I wouldn't say I've really "modified" my Sport Fit at all. What I've added that I like best? The rear cargo hatch cover, and the upgraded center console arm rest. In the case of the rear cargo hatch cover, I think you could purchase that online from any reputable outlet as cheap as you could find it, and probably install it yourself no problem.

The center console arm rest? If you are not mechanically inclined I'd pay to have that installed.

I enjoy both those "additions" to my Fit...even though I don't think of them as "Modifications" as much as simply convience additions...

I would change the wheels, tint, decals, add whatever makes life driving your fit more enjoyable/convenient. I want to add an interchangable light to my cluster and change the lights as my mood changes. keep things fresh
