Where to buy Volk CE28 replica

Ok I finally got some cash, and iam trying to buy these rims:
Name: oct08050.jpg
Views: 9674
Size: 54.1 KB

This car belongs to a member on here named:
ghettoboy247

i been trying to ask him what rims these are.. and hes been giving me vage responses so.. the only thing i got out of him was that they are 17x7 and that they were MAYBE 40 offsets... but his replys were kinda not confident nor exact.

I did some research, and of course Volk and Work will have the most similar rims but for top dollar.

Someone on this forum said he got some CE28 nock offs.. and I can see some of those rims from ROTA, the DPT series looks like it, but i can't find it in the right size or off-set. The Rota DPT seems like my best bet, but the problem is i can't find the right wheel size and offset, i would settle with offsets 35-40

any help would be greatly appreciated, I really wanna go for that look ghettoboy247 has. I was going to get yellow fog lights and lower my car with maybe some swifts or the Tananbe NF series (the one that is supposed to be comfortable.. by Tananabe, the DF series is the one that has a slammed look). I am also considering coilvoers because I am scared that there won't be an even drop.

i was trying to find more info about his suspension / wheel setup but i couldn't find much on it since he modded the car so damn fast. rota discontinued making the dpt's in 4x100, so i never bothered looking for other options. Drag DR-9's and Maxxim Deadline's are rep's of CE28N's, so that's an option if you want to consider that route.

are these styles un-popular now or something? whats the reason from all these discontinued rims in CE28 styles?

i must have bad taste or something.. because theres not many available styles i would like to put on my car, but i might be forced too if its the only thing available.

The Drag brand looks like they don't even have a bronze available:

The Drag DR9 are that color bronze but they're discontinued. You can still find the other colors online in the offsets and size you're looking for it seems like. Looks like bronze is hard to come by. You could always try posting a WTB on the used classifieds on HT.

The Maxxim reps are a lighter color bronze, but seem to be readily available in 17" in ET40 4x100. You could always get them painted or paint them yourself. I wouldn't powdercoat them.

real CE28 > rep CE28 all the way. You could always try a WTB thread on here or maybe HT. HT is where I picked up my Bros Mag Blue TE37s for only $1,700

If you're not set on 17's, Koenig Heliums should be an option...I'll be running 15 inch versions of them soon..

Oh, here we go...

The Heliums are a good choice, have been around for a while and are SCC Magazine approved (back in the day I think they used them on their SE-R project IIRC?)
