Hello fitfreak! i recently installed K sport coilovers on my gd3, and whenever someone sits (about 150lbs) in the back seats, the rear (2 finger gap) just dumps all the way to the wheel causing me to rub like crazy. I already adjusted the knob on top all the way to "H". is anyone else with K Sport Coilovers having this problem? Or does anyone know what i can do to make them stiffer?

also, ive rolled my rear fenders, but i havent cut the insides of my rear bumper yet, but that shouldn't have to do with the springs being too soft.

 

Hey OP, we can get you stiffer spring rate. They are special order since the Fit is a high low set up in the rear but we can help you out 100%

You may have a blown shock. Yes, even if they're new, they could arrive defective.

 

or you could just do the rear airshock mod

 

How can i double check.? I sure hope not :<

take the rear shocks out and see how easy it is to compress. or... if you see fluid oozing from it.

 

It sounds like you have the struts set too low and (or) wheels without enough offset, rims too wide, tires too wide or a little bit of all of those things....

 

struts..? wheres that located? and how can i adjust it?

From the OP it doesn't seem like the car is too low. Most likely he just got stuck with a bad product.

I'm going to leave this alone until I get my Buddy Club N+ coilovers dialed in... Damned Japanese instructions aren't very helpful and I am being very cautious It looks like I should be able to set them high enough that I won't look like a retard when avoiding scraping the front lip or bashing the underside on speed bumps.
