looks good on paper but would like first hand opinion... anyone rocking or have tried them?

 

I have these have about a year with them,,have not tracked my fit with them but they grave pretty good with my turbo...

 

how's the tread noise? I'm looking at the 215/45R16

 

they do have a bot of a noise but its not bad after a while u get used to it,,there pretty soft too when I go over small bumps or cracks it doesn't hit as hard

 

so the tires are designed to heat up faster than the norm and has a soft wall... softer wall would be a good welcome as I will be lowering the fit soon but would those be recommended on longer drives? like 8-14hrs?

 

I'm not too sure about that one but the longest I've driven with these is about 4 hours with no problems at all,,oh and I'm surpriseed how good they grab on the rain too

 

The tires grip well. But they're very loud and wear quickly, as expected.

What do you mean these tires have a soft wall? Sidewall? I don't think the sidewall is soft at all. These tires are not more comfortable than the typical street tires. They're performance tires so comfort isn't one of its strengths.

 

The tread is soft, not the sidewall.

 

I have these up front and dz101 on the rear and I think the azenis are way more comfortable

 

I don't know if the "K" is the same, but the standard RT615s I had on my Mustang got slick when they got hot, so I was always powersliding everywhere if i would try to get on the power around a turn (albeit this was 480rwhp and not the Fit's massive 90fwhp).

 

The 615-k is the same as the reg 615. They just added the k.

Has anyone run them on stock Fit sport wheels? I am going to want to buy new tires soon, and am thinking of buying a set. I have seen them on em1 SI wheels, and they are 6" wide. Seen 205/50's on them. What you think about that?

so... the "K" is for their new proprietary rubber compound used on the tires and upon further more reading... I think these would be my wheels on the 16x7 bbs.

I was weighing between these:
195/50 = with experience of my current 195/45R17 s.drive setup... I wouldn't hesitate running 195s on the Fit. on a 16x7 195/50 setup... I think it would work great and minimizes that meaty tire bulge look like on 205/50 that I'm seeing around.
205/50 = this is probably the most common and popular setup here on FF but I just can't find a way to like the way it looks on 16x7s... too much bulging meat look for my taste. now before you flame me on not liking a 205/50 setup... just be it known that I also show the Fit so looks do matter to me too. despite my disliking... this setup is recommend.
215/45 = while this has a slightly smaller diameter than the stock rolling diameter... it is still within acceptable specs. they look pretty damn good mounted on 16x7 too. the look reminds me of the RC wheels lol. specially these Falken Azenis 615-K. I think they look proper on 16s nonetheless

I really like the look of a 195 on a 7j personally.

I have 195/50/15 on my Advans and IMO the sizing is perfect.

 

anyway... it all comes down to whether I'll go with ZIEX ZE-912 195/50 or Azenis RT-615K 215/45

 

google didn't yield much images but from what I've seen amongst the few... I'm liking it a lot too and the pricing on the wheels are very good.

 

Azenis look cooler, but if its just a daily, they aren't really necessary.

 

exactly ture. there's really not much selection for a 215/45R16. Kumho does offer it on that size but my past experiences on them left a bad taste in my mouth. no doubt, the Azenis look pretty darn sporty but like you stated 195/50s do look good too without the heavy price tag and at $94 shipped per wheel... the ZE-912 is hard to resist.
