Hyundai confirms performance brand, first model due 2015

Based on next-gen i20
Hyundai Motorsport team principal Michel Nandan has confirmed the company is plotting a performance brand.
Hyundai is working hard to completely change its budget-oriented image with new and more appealing products which so far have been a success. One major step in this direction has already been taken as Hyundai has announced plans to participate in WRC next year with the i20. Now we have found out they will create a performance brand following the same philosophy as Nissan's Nismo arm.
The first car
We assume the i20 will probably be the first of a series which will include other models as well, including the Genesis Coupe and Veloster Turbo.

you dont need to. i posted my opinion just as you posted yours.
I just find it interesting that you chose to comment on the "originality" of their production direction as if it's a bad thing.
one thing is definitely clear though. you wont see me driving a hyundai or kia. now, enough bickering.
they're light years ahead of where they were, but still not great. then again, if honda keeps slipping they'll be ahead of them in no time. :(
yah, ive driven the exel when they were still new. friend had one. was like a mitsu-korean built car. compared to that, they have definitely improved.
when i drove the chevy colt (or cobalt?) about 7-8yrs back, it reminded me of the exel experience. lol
