Hi all,

I just bought an '08 base model with 66k miles for $9k with TTT from a dealer... and super excited as I felt that was a great deal, from looking around. Took a look at it and fell in love.

Has a couple of scratches that have been hit with touch-up, but other than that, it is in very good shape. One owner, etc.

My wishes: new radio, remote door locks, wheels and tires...

Any suggestions or anything I need to know? I am looking around the forums. I am new to Honda after years of driving Bimmers.

 

Do Viper alarm/auto start. I uses the Viper app for iOS/Android. It can literally start /unlock your car from 5k miles away.

Wheel choices are endless depending on the size. Radio choices are too. Do you want navi, b/t, SAT radio, etc?

Yeah... I do want to get all these things but I'm back in school and have a ton of other expenses as well... So it's one thing at a time. I'm really enjoying reading all the forums. I'm no stranger to DIY, though. I have a ridiculous amount of mechanic friends.

I am going to check on the Viper alarm first... Then radio... Then wheels. I do want a nav system, etc... Just not sure, they are SO expensive! I'm not a huge sound system freak. I just want something that works better than what's in there. There is a loose connection somewhere and I can't see the time or radio station LOL... So I figured if we've already got it apart, why not replace it?

 

They aren't that expensive at all... 299.99 for some depending on the features you want and/or brand.

 

Any links to share? I'm not finding anything by a reputable brand under $450. And since I'm not a stereo freak, other things are wanted first. Like wheels, etc. I guess I might just see if someone can fix it for me. Like I said, lots of friends... Just about getting their attention and/or time.
