How low can i drop my car?

I have a 17" wheel and it's already has been dropped 1, 1/4" but doesn't look like it has been lowered at all. Only good thing about is that I have no problem going over speed bumps or anything else. This is what I have on right now
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380932719934?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITbut feel that it still looks too high but I don't want to have any problems with driveways/speed bump & those sort of stuff (I used to have a super low ep3. for people who doesn't know its was a civic si made around 2002-2005 as a hatchback) Here's a pic of my old one Name: 20rFuE7.jpg

I was wondering something similar. I'm waiting on my set to arrive that will drop him 2" but now I'm starting to worry it won't be a noticeable difference.
