GD3 all wheel drive off road in Russia

Wow, even with road tires and low clearance, this thing can go where no 2 wd will ever be able to go through.

Haha! That is pretty awesome, too bad they do not come stock boosted and AWD.

So this raises the question: was AWD an option in some countries or is this some kind of crazy mod?

They are designated gd4 as an awd fit in other county markets.

This AND I believe (correct me if wrong) that all the AWD models were CVT as well.

I really wish we had gotten at least 5 speed AWDs here as an option.

there are manual gd4 but most are cvt.

The down side is they are difficult to find pictures of let alone parts. I will try and hunt down my archive diagram of the "city 4wd" drivetrain.
