I wrote two additional issues I'm sorry. I did sound insulation to the doors. I used the door gasket. the result is very nice. road noise and the sound of water is very much reduced.

yes it is avery good way to isolate the door noise....
very good complement to the Sound deadening project..
I also stuffed the original door seal with PU material ( which was not easy) and it helped even more...

 

good bump, I was recently looking at this as well. I am willing to give it a try. any one have a good purchasing source and part numbers?

 

 

 

looks amazing... I would primarily be worried about rust. I hope you are going to do a top spray of something like a rhino liner on top of the mat to ensure no moisture gets trapped.

I plan to add the rubber door seal on my car just like what you did.
My question is,
How many meters of each 3 item above is needed?
For example the 4 meter z type 3m adhesive rubber,
do I need just 4 meter or more?
and also for the other 2 rubber seal,
please kindly let me know how long needed
each for all 3 type of rubber seal above.
